I'm going to be completely honest here...
After almost three weeks of travel in a foreign country and living out of a suitcase and eating at restaurants, I am more than ready to "reset" myself. Sometimes you just have to "survive." Sometimes your workouts don't happen because of crazy life events. I used to think people who said that were just making excuses. Now, I understand.
Here's the deal:
If things have been a bit "out of control" for you lately, and you are ready to get back on track. I am hosting a "judgment-free zone" just for YOU.
If you are stressed with life and need some support, I am giving you a place to be real.
If you are dealing with a stubborn toddler and carpool and sports and have no time for yourself, I'm with ya, sister.
If you are tired of being tired and just want to set a good example for your kids and live the healthiest summer of your life, LET'S DO IT TOGETHER.
Right now, I am between training seasons and want to workout for ME. I have no desire to be "skinny," because honestly, that word makes me cringe. I want to be STRONG. I want to set the example, make good choices (regardless of the picnics and potlucks), and gain confidence along the way.
There are things in my life that I cannot control. There are struggles that come along with mothering three young children, and I'm not going to pretend that those things don't wear on me some days. But here is my plan: CONTROL THE CONTROLLABLE.
I can control what time I wake up.
I can control what food I eat.
I can control the nutritional value I put in my body.
I can control if I workout or not, and how hard I push.
I can control if I give my kids healthy snacks or not.
I can control taking my children outside and getting exercise as a family.
I can control my attitude.
I can control my water intake.
I can control how I react to the hard things.
Anyone else feel like this? Any other moms out there who feel like THEY need a "time-out" in life?
I am going ALL IN on May 16th and starting a NEW challenge group just for moms who need support to get healthy and strong and kick off summer right. But, I really want this group to be more than tips and recipes, I know that we NEED support and encouragement through everyday stuff, so here is the place where you are free to be YOU.
What I have found is that clean eating by itself doesn't get you strong.
Exercise by itself does not make you maintain fat loss.
Without support, it's easy to make excuses and quit.
The formula for long-term healthy living is this: Fitness + Nutrition + Support = SUCCESS!
How do you get all this? Challenge groups.
