As a coach, I hesitated in titling my next health/fitness group, "No Excuses Bootcamp."
As much as I want to share with you my story of how I was like most people, I was scared, undisciplined, and had quit on myself way more than I care to admit... No one believes it now.
I hear all the time,
"I can't be as disciplined as you."
"I want to eat right, but I don't want to invest the time or money in myself."
"I am a picky eater."
"I've tried everything and nothing works."
Those excuses? They are MY story. I am just like you. No, really. I've tried every diet. I was afraid of investing in my own health (because, what if it doesn't work and I waste my money). I STILL hate vegetables (but I'm getting better). And I lacked all the discipline in the world.
So what changed? How did I go from that person on the left to the person on the right?
I HAD TO GIVE UP MY EXCUSES. And I STILL do. Daily.
So this accountability group? It's for ME, TOO. Does that make you breathe a sigh of relief? Not yet? Still scared. Well, a little fear is good. A little fear means you are about to do something AMAZING!!!!!

After that first week together, you will build your confidence and if you DO the work, you will ALREADY start to see some results! After Basic Training Week, we will have 4 more weeks together, working through the specific workout and nutrition program we will choose together. This is where you start to build lifelong habits. You MUST show up. You WILL be held accountable. And you WILL not regret it!!

I read the book, "Girl, Wash Your Face," by Rachel Hollis, and I was immediately hooked on it, on her, and on the mission to help women become more EMPOWERED. After reading the book, I attended the documentary released in movie theaters across the nation on August 2nd, called "Made for More."
This phrase, "made for more," has stuck with me for a few years now. One of my best friends in all the world held it as her mantra, and I love that I am constantly reminded of her desire to serve God in a higher capacity through all that she does.
And why not me?

Why shouldn't we believe God created us to live FULL and ABUNDANT lives?
I know the idea of "striving" doesn't always resound with everyone. But, instead of striving for more in this life, what if we were striving to become more FOR GOD? What if we work not for more money or more stuff or more likes on Facebook, but instead, we work to become the women GOD INTENDED US TO BE? And what does that look like?
Well, Rachel Hollis echoes this in her book, and I am a FIRM BELIEVER that our journey to find our bigger purpose in God's plan begins with taking care of OURSELVES. Yes, that means taking care of our physical and spiritual bodies. Friends, if we do NOT take care of this earthen vessel, how can we EVER think we can grow and advise others on a spiritual level?
If we do not fill OUR cups first, how can we expect to pour out to our families, our jobs, our friendships, our churches, etc? It MUST begin with US. That is NOT selfish. It's necessary. If you want to live a life that is MADE FOR MORE, you MUST take care of YOU.
I am SO passionate about helping women become their BEST SELVES, that I am opening up a BRAND NEW accountability group for those who TRULY want to see change in their physical and mental well-being. While I am not a certified nutritionist, personal trainer, or psychologist, I want to spearhead a movement of women who desire to live a greater life, so that they can, in turn, bless those around them. I will use the tools and talents I have been given as a health and fitness coach, and help my clients to achieve healthy habits for life! I use fitness programs matching each woman's own level and goals (which can be done in a gym or right at home), and nutrition programs designed for lifelong food freedom and overall health, with zero starvation or calorie counting. I will provide 1:1 coaching through the program, as well as daily group accountability and support. Along with the nutrition plan, each client will also receive a month's supply of superfood shakes that will curb cravings, aid digestion, give energy, and be the easiest, most nutritious meal of the day! This is my secret weapon, as it gives the nutrients of six salads, but tastes like a milkshake. WIN-WIN!
