The last time I did the 3-Day Refresh, I felt obligated to tell you what NOT to do, because I felt that even though I had great results, my experience could have been better through those three days if I had prepared myself for success. You can read about my first go-around here.
This time, I planned ahead, still got great results, and I FELT so much better through the process.

I planned to do this Refresh beginning the Monday after Thanksgiving. With traveling, eating amazing food, and just begin out of routine, I figured I would need something to jumpstart me back onto the portion control bandwagon. Our Thanksgiving menu was filled completely with clean recipes, but I did indulge in slightly bigger portions of stuffing (Mmmm...), sweet potato casserole (which tasted like pumpkin pie, not gonna lie), clean pumpkin pie, and a glass or two of wine. So, needless to say, too many carbs for a girl who didn't run as much as usual, ok, didn't run at all that week. ;) I was ready to Refresh.

So, how did it go? Well, for many reason, we do not own a scale in our home. I always take BEFORE and AFTER pictures to note my progress. I think the results are pretty good. While it may not LOOK like a huge difference, I FEEL so much BETTER than before I started. I am ready to go into the holiday season and I set myself for success. The bloat is gone, and even my husband wants to do it after Christmas!
