As we get into the fall season of sports, holidays, and busy schedules, it becomes harder and harder to focus on ourselves, especially when it comes to getting healthy. I know that as I have been reading through "Present Over Perfect" by Shauna Niequist, I am being more proactive in SLOWING DOWN and being PRESENT with my family. I am trying to become more FOCUSED in my work and family activities and not allow them to bleed into one another.
CHANGE of any kind is overwhelming. So, we make up excuses.
"I don't have time."
"I don't have money."
"I don't think I can stick with it."
What we are REALLY saying is...
"I don't know how."
"What if I fail?"
